You'd think I was auditioning in front of millions

This writers' workshop thing has my panties in a twist. Why did I sign up? Why? I have two and a half hours to prepare. There are eight participants, mind you. But the blurb says you'll be given prompts to write about and then you're to read them before the others. I don't do well with prompts. I freeze over a prompt. (Let me write about something I am ready to write about.) Make me read my response to a prompt, and I may well have heart failure. It reminds me of being "prompted" during my high school days when this Ron guy was my most favoritest crush ever and I couldn't write worth squat over a "prompt" and my voice shook like the dickens in front of him (along with my other classmates, none of whom were as memorable as Ron).
