I'm thinking of updating my new email sigfile to this:

Within 5 years, the Ross iceshelf will collapse into the ocean, raising
the water level 5m everywhere, diplacing 2 bil people, and removing 2/3
of the world's land-based food sources. Warming, acidifying oceans are
killing the coral reefs (and shellfish), one of the main sources of aquatic life and diversity, its effects spanning even to the deep ocean.
I suppose it -might- effect me, -maybe-.
But -I- DON'T CARE.
Because -I- am watching TV. NO, not the news.
I wouldn't want to get 'depressed'.
Also, in fights, I use my 'infinity technique' that vanquishes every
foe I have ever faced: I savagely, mercilessly, bloodily beat their bare,
unprotected fists with my face and vital organs; finally, when they're
begging me to stop, I ask them to leave the flowers and chocolates and
get out of my hospital room. NOW. OR. ELSE.
That usually teaches 'em.

understand the
truth of life.”
