This morning, I waited for the bus longer than I usually do: The bus was on time, but I'm used to having it come about 5 minutes early. When the bus got there, it hurtled up to me, as if it hadn't seen me, and stopped about 5 feet ahead of me so that I had to run. The driver apologized as I got on. So I almost missed a bus I'd waited for (right at the stop, too) for the better part of 10 minutes.
I get on the bus with my headphones on, and a lady starts pointing at my sweater. I'm confused, and a little dazed, so when she reaches out towards the buttons, I just watch her unbutton and rebutton the one button I'd done up... apparently I'd done my sweater up crooked. The rest of the bus ride is uneventful. I get off at my transfer point and walk to the second bus.
As I'm waiting for the second bus to arrive, I look down at my sweater. It is still crookedly buttoned. Apparently I'd actually had it right the first time...
