Interros and ONEXIM signed an agreement on division of the KM Invest assets

Today, on the 17th of April, Interros and ONEXIM signed agreements, according to which Interros acquires a 50% share in ZAO KM Invest, owned by Mikhail Prokhorov. The agreements also provides that ONEXIM buys from KM Invest 27.5% of Open Investments Company (OAO Otkrytye Investitzii) and 91% of Soglassye Insurance Company (OOO Strakhovaya Kompania “Soglasie”). The parties have also agreed that ONEXIM would take control over Rosbank Management Company (OOO Upravlyaiuschaya kompania Rosbanka) and a number of geology-exploring assets. The parties aim to close the deal before May 15, 2008. “We have managed to overcome all contradictions and to conclude a mutually beneficial deal. I hope that completion of such a large-scale restructuring of a joint business will have a positive effect on the country’s business climate”, - Vladimir Potanin, the General Director of Interros Holding company believes.
Mikhail Prokhorov, President of the ONEXIM Group noted: “These agreements allow us to very soon participate directly in the companies of strategic interest, as well as concentrate on realisation of our own projects”.
