Last night was horrible, The reminants of Tropical Storm Otis from the pacific coast, crossed the Rockies and headed towards montana and then the Dakotas and finnaly to Minnesota. Which in turn flooded much of where I live >:o. Our basement has about 2 inches of water, graar. I'm lucky I didn't move all my stuff down there yet. I'll just have to sure I put things about 3-5 inches above ground level with like Cinder Blocks or something.. Anyways, back to what happened after I got off work.

I was heading down the main street of the City of Apple Valley ( where I work) Whjch is Ceder Ave. And it was FLOODED. You know those things the side of the road that have the grates where... Drainage thingies, it was gushing OUT of those, overflowing. There was probably 5 inches of water in the intersection, And I had to get through there. Well then, the drive home was nothing but huge puddles. I ended driving almost in the middle of the road, over the middle line. And it was only about 10 pm too. probably a good half hour after the heavy downpour. Glad I didn't get caught in it like i did a few weeks ago.. You can ask Justin, I called him up and I was panicing almost lol. I'm gonna diiiee. It was windy, and rain came down in sheets and gusts. and there was a tornado not far, but wasn't in the city. Anyways. I was about the Orchird Lake, (where I live); and there is a dip in the road, where the train tracks are, and it was like a river was going across the road. So i slowed down and forged my way across. I wanted to test how deep it was , but there was a car coming from behind me, So I couldn't, but all in all, it was an interesting night.

Next day at work, my boss says, that across the street from her, a house was struck by lightning and went up in smoke pretty much. Poor people :(...
Not to mention Today I find out, while eating supper in the lunch room. On CNN, there is like 15 inches of snow in southern North Dakota, and expecting to mosy on along to hit near Fargo where my Aunt and Cousins live. Eeee. 15 INCHES, already... Man, here I am about 200 miles away maybe, its rainy flooding, and over there they get piles of snow.. wahh..
