decisions decisions

I really need to decide whether or not I'm going to go down to my parents' house and just stay there from the 4th to the 12th. If the job thing doesn't continue next week I don't have much reason to come back - save for my kitty, but I can ask my boss if she wouldn't mind checking in on her on both weekends, since Wickedkitty will be here during the week.
However, besides the cat issue, my aunt is coming up on Monday and I'd miss out on a free dinner and having her take some more of my stuff down south. (Even though I can always arrange to have Wickedkitty to be here to unlock the door and help load up her car.
I think my mom is going to be around for the two days that I didn't plan on being down there, and it would be nice to get some of my errands done, since I'm sure she wouldn't mind helping me out.
Though that would mean that I would have to pack up things (which I hate), make sure all of my library books are turned in (I even looked at a couple and they have holds and can't be renewed), plus make sure I bring everything I need down for the 9 days that I'm staying down there - wedding present, stuff for wedding, rehearsal dinner, visa stuff, everything.
I still need to figure out how I'd get to the Korean Consulate. If I came down on Wednesday I'd be nearby and already have arrangements to meet my aunt to go there. *sigh* I don't know.
I need to call the temp agency and see if the Mayor's Office just didn't need me for this week, but wants me back next week. That would make up my decision.
I've spent my non-working days having some fun. On Monday I got some errands done and then went to a park I'd never been to before and had a blast. We got really lost and wandered around in this pretty forest for a while before finding it. It was essentially a park full of really ugly statues, so Wickedkitty and I took turns acting like dorks using the statues as props.
Yesterday we drove a little south of here and went to a winery that we never knew was local for a wine tasting. They have a bunch of neat fruit-y wines in all sorts of flavors - guava, passionfruit, cranberry, blackberry, raspberry, pineapple.. they even had coffee flavored wine! It was delicious! We asked the taster lady what there was locally since we were already in the area and she told us about this giant nursery with a cafe in it so we checked that out. They had delicious food at pretty reasonable prices. After stuffing ourselves we walked around the nursery for a while then drove out to a park that we saw signs for. Got really lost, but eventually found it (it was a lot further than we thought it would be) which was really pretty. :)
Today has been spent finishing up what library books I can - all I have left is a Teach Yourself Korean kit, but I'm not sure I want to burn all the CDs onto my computer since there are twelve of them. Mostly because it might not even be helpful without the book. I'll probably look at it tonight and try to make a decision.
I've also been scanning slides, in case I plan on staying down south. I think I only have 2.5 boxes left of the ones that I really want to finish, and then I'd have another six boxes before needing another set of boxes. I should continue packing but I hate it so very much. I won't be able to enjoy whatever I pack for at least a year and I want to be able to enjoy it as much as I can. I've been packing boxes of books that I'm not too partial to, but not sure if I can bear selling them. I might consider it but probably not until I get back from Korea.
I should probably start loading up everything that I'm sure I'm going to forget for the coming week. If I can bring down as much as I can even if I don't end up staying then its less that I have to bring down on the Greyhound.
