lazy weekend
This has totally been a really lazy weekend for me. Friday night I was asleep by like 9:30 since I think I caught Wickedkitty's cold and was desperately trying to battle it off. Slept almost 12 hours too which was nice. All I've done all weekend was go to the library to change out books. Well, that and read over 1400 pages.
However, tonight I'm planning on vegging out and watching The Other Boleyn Girl, which hopefully isn't disappointing, and having yummy homemade soup. Should be fun.
I'm not liking this getting up at 6:30 thing.. and have to do it twice more before this batch of work is finished.
Dang.. my cat just grabbed a moth in midair and ate it. It was pretty impressive to watch. She hates moths.
Oh yeah.. Friday I sent out all of my visa documents to Korea for them to start processing my visa.. for a 0.3 pound manila envelope.. it cost me $60. I am not kidding. I could get caviar for that price. I'm really really hoping that it was because I needed a tracking number for it and that's not what all mail to Korea costs or else I'm NEVER going to get any packages, and maybe not even any letters. It was crazy. However, I just checked the tracking number of my visa documents and they're already in Korea.. and might even be processed at the end of the week. *eep*
Though I won't be able to make it down to the consulate until after the 4th of July 'cause it's kind of far away.. if it all works as planned I'm hoping to be able to spend about a week at my parent's house getting everything ready to have my life stored in a closet. I just need someone to watch my kitty since a week is a long time to go without anyone around. Though that is one good thing about roommates.
I think I'm going to read a little more until Wickedkitty comes home and we can start dinner.
