So, some of you may be asking, what is Ash up to? what is she doing? how's the whole moving thing gone??? and well...most of you aren't. But anyways. It's 10:51pm, Sunday the 30th. The first is coming...and rent is due, odd. For once I am content with my living situation. Sure...things have been simply put stressful. Financially, we're sucking, and doing a fantastic job of it. It's neither of our faults however, I'm working on getting a job, I've applied for unemployment, I have rent so that we can live in our place of doom. (note: if B hasn't mentioned, we live aboveMexicans that play their music at high volumes all day...oh, it would be fine if it was good music, but no. It's mexican! and well...our neighbors so far are...mexicans, pot smokers, crazy cat-lady-alcoholic lady and the assholes under us who are basically...rude as all fuck. We found out why the house was so hot and why people were feeling sick...we had a gas leak. yay...and it's still not fixed, won't be till tomorrow if that's even possible.) Anyways, B is working on her car getting fixed and school payed for, and I know it's stressing her, I just wish that things would settle out, and I pray that she receives what she needs.
Now...in reference to that lack of money thing it's not like we're starving or anything...actually we're doing great in the food department, but we seem to be running out of bird-y food and kitty things quickly...AND WE NEED TRASHBAGS! we keep forgetting them. oi. speaking of cats, we have as she has been named...: Pumpkin Samus Mydna. Basically that can be explained by saying, originally we were going to name her Samus (for all of you Metroid Prime people...this is a COOL name. btw: B beat it last night (woot!)) for Nate, Mydna was the name of choice (ie: the little shadow creature that rides on your back in ZELDA: Twightlight Princess) and for the settling of names I wanted to name her something halloween/autumn like. And she's orange and black and white basically...so: Pumpkin. Anyways, she was given to me by a crazy cat lady who worked at the place I was painting these murals, the woman was feeding her ground up dry cat food and 2%milk, all mixed together and microwaved. Now...that may sound fine to some of you, but a kitten's diet is very strict, as it should be with all neonates. Pumpkin wasn't getting what she needs so she basically looks like she's only a couple weeks old, but as Lost Adonis says, she has the dexterity of a two month old cat, which is how old she is. She looks 2 weeks old, but really should be almost cat like by now. In turn we've learned she sort of has a little problem getting to the old litter box, and in turn we get wonderfully smelly shit, in random places. But that's not what matters really, her little roto-rooter nose going in circles around the bowl when she finally started taking to eating wet food, or the little pink tongue in a curl whenever she finishes is worth it. Not to mention the other thousand insane stunts she pulls. Like...leaping off my bed when she is bored, or her tendency to pick a mommy for the day (that usually being the person who feeds her first as I've noticed) well....she's just cute, or fugly as some refer (she is...sort of...cause she's like a dwarf, with long matty orange and black fur, and massive eyeballs.) When we first got her she basically looked like a wookie, I could have sworn that Austin bred with a cat to make something that looks like her. Big funny fuzzy "V's" pasted to this tiny little head, with massive eyes, and a poof of fur and overstuffed guts attatched. We still have EV and Fenrir, which piss off the neighbors when they first wake up (I get some mean looks having that first cigarette of the morning with EV cat-calling and whistling non-sense up a storm).
We have a cute little 60's Apt, with all the necessities, including stolen internet (but you didn't just read that *wink wink nudge nudge*) but we only get it if we sit at the table in the kitchen. Our rooms are really nice, and very much us, but space is limited. The other night we tested the capacity of the house really, we had 11 people all at once. Now...you couldn't exactly move much, but it was still enough room to fit everyone in, and have enough space for someone to get up and fetch the freshly baked cookies! but not really get to the milk. I really stressed out about that whole thing. First it was Nate coming down to visit and spend the weekend with me, then it was suddenly Nate, and Lost Adonis, and Firous, and Jesse, and RissyBug, and her roomates, and Elliot and Jezwanda...OI!!! Anyways, it got to be way too much and I became quickly overwhelmed. But then it calmed down and we all went to sleep which was nice.
I had a really busy day today but exaustion is finally creeping down my spine...and I am begining to feel the urge to sleep. So I shall cut it off here, and perhaps post sometime later.
p.s.: new quote: peace, love and great dane-ishes (hehe..much better than chihuahua's)
p.p.s: To Nate: I love you very much my sweetheart, I will see you this coming weekend. *hugs*
