Seunghyun reread the text message.
He ran. He ran to where he thought Jiyong would be.
He wasn't there.
He ran along the streets.
He saw him, the road.
Jiyong was standing in the middle, body slouched.
He was looking at him, eyes empty.
God damn it.
Green light.
Cars will drive past pretty soon.
Seunghyun didn't think much,
He ran over to where Jiyong was,
Bright lights, oncoming car.
He pushed him away.
Then came the impact.
His life flashed before him,
Jiyong, jiyong and more jiyong.
The times he spent with Jiyong.
The times when Jiyong came over to his room, crying.
The times when Jiyong traced his scars on his back.
The times when they hugged each other to sleep on that thin piece of cloth with some spring under they call a bed during winter.
The times when they starved together.
The times when they faced the verbal insults together.
The times when they ran out of the orphanage together.
The times when they got into trouble together.

The time when Jiyong came back, unable to take the abuse any longer.
