top five favorite things about valentine's day this year
1. although I woke up and was ready to leave before I found out, my Journalism II class was canceled. this is quite the treat. I got to spend the morning being a bum with my dog. livin' the life.
2. being sleepy all day = a light nap this afternoon. I haven't taken a nap in forever. it felt pretty okay.
3. roses. they smell good and I like having flowers on my desk. Paul is nice.
4. Panera dinner with my mom and Catie and Brooke. I love Panera food and I love them and so it was the perfect vday dinner.
5. Paul's mom came home from the hospital after having triple bypass surgery last Tuesday. it sounds lame but it's amazing and inspiring to see how well she's been doing. I can't imagine going through that.
