Early morning migraines suck. Well ok, any migraines suck but particularly those that mean you're in extreme pain AND losing sleep. I hate the fact that I have fabulous migraine pills that thankfully work wonders, but they always take at least 45 excruciating minutes to kick in. Can't imagine how bad it would be if they didn't have caffeine in them to speed up the process.
Today I went shopping after work. I think I may have found my wedding shoes on the first try - literally the first pair I tried on (other than the pair they tried to sell me at David's Bridal, which I was trying on with full knowledge that I would not be purchasing them). At Payless, even. :D
The only thing I ended up buying is a CD: Muse - Absolution. I've been looking for it for a couple of weeks, just randomly checking music stores etc. I went to my parents' house for dinner, as did my brother... when I showed up, he looked at my FYE bag:
Brion: What did you get!?
Me: *watching as he pulls out a Coconuts bag* What did YOU get!?!?
*we both pull them out*
Turns out we both went after work to different music stores and bought Muse CDs. Fortunately he bought Black Holes and Revelations - which was totally great because now we both have both CDs. We still both want to get Origins of Symmetry and Showbiz though, at least I do, because I still don't have "Unintended" or "Newborn," two of my favorites off of the H.A.A.R.P. live album. Whee!
It's my fault my brother bought the CD at all, because I was watching the DVD that came with H.A.A.R.P. yesterday and he ended up watching some of it with me, and said "hm... I could listen to this, this is pretty good!" It's the crazy guitar stuff. I continue to be supremely impressed by this band, and especially by Bellamy's multi-tasking - singing, crazy lead guitar, and completely incredible piano bits. I'm enjoying it immensely.
