Another update on my so-called life.
I'm in a really great mood - I didn't have class tonight, so I got to eat dinner with Andrea and Nicole. At 7:15 I'm going to a lecture/panel discussion on the Oswego Safe Haven, and Andrea's going too - this is taking place of class tonight (in other words I HAVE to be there). I'd go anyway.
Good news: All my paperwork is in for the London trip, including the resume, cover letter, etc. for the internship. Brian Howard faxed them a recommendation today as well. I'm very excited.
I got two paychecks today - I already have plans for them however. :) More on that later.
I made a To Do list like my mom suggested, and I'm slowly getting things crossed off of it. I didn't even have to resort to "make bed" and "get dressed" yet. :)
My throat still hurts - deep in my chest - when I cough. It sucks, but I still think I'm getting better - just hacking a lot. I feel sorry for the rest of the people in my classes who have to listen to me. Last night Andrea and I ordered spaghetti from Pizza Hut (we were both ravenous) and talked for two and a half hours. It was really fun - we covered all sorts of topics from friendship, to history, to education, and more. Very enjoyable. I guess that's all I really want to say for now - I have to write up a paper proposal (at least it's not a paper) before going to this Safe Haven thing.
