Two tv-related things that are amusing the heck out of me this evening:
1) I was at my parents' house for Father's Day and while clicking around, my mom left it on some Hallmark movie. I was half-watching until suddenly I realized that the main guy was Desmond from Lost (
Henry Ian Cusick). After I got used to hearing him with a mild English accent instead of the heavy Scottish brogue he has on Lost.... within the next ten minutes, Anders from Battlestar Galactica (
Michael Trucco) and Martouf from Stargate SG-1 (
JR Bourne) both showed up as well. I just about died... it was like a sci-fi convention. It was a cheesy TV movie called
Perfect Romance, in case you're wondering.
2) Finally found out why the kid who is playing Mike Newton in the Twilight movie looked so darn familiar - he's the same kid who played the teenage-clone Jack O'Neill in SG-1! *dies laughing* I think that's great though - I always thought that kid (
Michael Welch) was a great actor because he picked up O'Neill's mannerisms so well. Still seriously entertained by this.
ETA: Upon perusing the cast list, that movie also had a guy who guest starred as a Go'auld a couple of times, and the Ancient chickie from the opening shot of the Atlantis pilot. Must have been shot in Vancouver, most assuredly.
