Ok, I think I'm a bit settled down from my Twilight high at the moment. Had a rough day yesterday... not that that stopped me from spending 2 hours finding Twilight icons for LJ and AIM. (I also switched my emoticons on AIM from skeins of yarn... to grizzly bears. Which will not mean anything to anyone I talk to on there, but which is amusing me greatly. Hahha.)
I took a break before starting New Moon to catch up (almost, one more ep to go) on Lost, and read the two volumes of Cyborg 009 I got at the book sale, so I can donate them to the library. That's a pretty impressive series. There's a lot of history to its creation, it has a strong anti-war theme, and it has completely awesome old-school '60s manga artwork. Good all around.
Tonight I have to watch the last two episodes of Atlantis so I can send the DVD back to Netflix, and then I think I shall delve into New Moon. I'm all hyped up about it now because
aurillia said she stayed up super-late reading it because it was so emotionally intense. Eek!
.... in wedding news, I checked out my first ceremony/reception location idea today. I didn't think churches charged that many fees to hold a ceremony there. I thought you just paid the officiant. Oh, how terribly naive I am. *sigh* This whole wedding thing is SUCH a racket. I would prefer to make it out with my finances intact as much as possible so that I can put my money toward... oh I don't know... a HOUSE? Sheesh. I already have my whole tax incentive thingie going into my retirement account (which let me just say, has so far gained... approximately 77 cents - since October). *sigh again*
Well, enough grousing about the state of things. I have Atlantis AND New Moon to look forward to tonight, and I'm talking to my love, so things are looking up!
