I am more stressed out right now than I've been in a long, long time. I have a paper due the 28th (Wed.) which I read a 300 page book for over break, and THEN my teacher emails me - long story short, it has to be an autobiography/memoir, not a biography (although her paper title, etc. are misleading in that respect). I'm hoping she'll just let it go because she took the entire break to email me back, and by the time I realized the problem it was... today... and I'd already read the book. There's no way I'm going to be able to read another book and write a paper on it for Wednesday.
I also have a test on Thursday, and a test next Tuesday. Over the weekend I have to go home again because I need to get my glasses lenses updated. I have a paper due April 11th and two on the 12th, one which I don't even have a topic for yet.
In the meantime, I still need to finish getting stuff together for the London trip (I did get my passport application turned in over break, photos taken, and all the forms filled out plus I mailed my ticket money to the travel agency.). I also am planning to apply to Cortland and Brockport (and maybe some other places) for grad school, but of course Cortland (which is my first choice at the moment) needs the History GRE's as well as the general GRE's (which I've already taken). Those will have to be scheduled, studied for, and taken before I leave for London (admittedly that's not 'til May 24th but it's tough considering all the other stuff I have to do in the next couple of weeks). I'm going to try to schedule them for the end of April, a time which seemed so far away not too long ago but which is now approaching faster than I can handle.
*SIGH*
I'm trying to take things one thing at a time as my dad and boyfriend have been telling me - they've both been really sweet to me.
Last note - went to see Enemy at the Gates last night, and it was wonderful. Of course, I'm biased because I love Jude Law anyway, and yes, there are times in this movie where he looks eeriely like Bryon. I'm so into WWII movies (and probably WWI movies if they made any). I can't wait to see Pearl Harbor even though I know they'll be adding in stuff that wasn't there... I still want to look up stuff on Vassili Zaitsev and see how much of what they put in Enemy at the Gates was truth. Fascinating story about two snipers (one Russian, one German) stalking each other throughout the battle of Stalingrad.
More later perhaps, if I don't pop from frustration.
