I'm starting to crash a bit. I'm still perfectly fine, it's just that the euphoria of getting engaged is wearing off as I settle into doing all the tasks I need to complete. I want to get going on getting ready for the impending move, but I feel like Ernie from Sesame Street when he was trying to clean up his room: What do I do first? (Somehow I don't think Ernie's plan of "Well, first I'll pick up all the RED things..." is going to work here.)
Things I can accomplish before having access to the new apartment:
- Enter the remaining two boxes of books into LibraryThing. Once I do, they go back into my parents' basement.
- Weed out clothes. Major, major weeding. I feel the need... the need to weed.
- Keep reading books. This is a means of weeding as well, since if I don't feel the need to keep it once I've read it, it can go elsewhere.
- Work on some of these knitting projects I've been mulling over in my head. Especially if they're small projects for charity; mail charity items out so I don't have to move them.
We're at kind of a weird point because we still have a month to go.
Bryon is still text messaging me all through the day, which I love.
I just miss the hugs.
