Sooo I just got a $1.50 raise at work so now I'm making $9.50. I'm ecstatic. All of my friends are going home this weekend but two great people will be visiting so it's gonna be nice.
Interviewed Rachel Baker, a journalist/editor of Boston magazine. Got lunch on Newbury street with her (she paid with the company credit card! ha). She was from Mississippi and had such a cute accent. I think it went really well and I made a good impression on her, nice contact to have.
I'm pretty happy, but dumb shit happens too. I feel the need to write because with the raise it seems like an especially good day ha. Like the highest point for a while. I should brace myself for something to go awry...
Anyhow, I wish that I had a desk here ha. I'm off to get started on my Rachel Baker article.
I should convert this into a blog...
