I kind of talked a little bit about this with Amber on twitter recently. Mostly, I feel like people forget moderation. It's possible to believe in God but also believe irrefutable scientific fact. I mean, holy texts are written by man, translated and retranslated by man. And man is not infallible, so of course prejudices of their times influenced them and what they wrote.

I guess that mostly covers it? In moderation, it's good but fanaticism is always bad.
