Wine, Modern Marvels, and Travel
Paid it back in the Karma department with volunteering at both a Harvest Festival and Tales of the Night at Drumlin Farm. 1,200 guests tonight.
Watching Modern Marvels episode about Mega Stores. Interesting!
Picked up my boots (they were getting repaired at this amazing cobbler I discovered). Happy with results and I hope they last another 5+ years. Discovered a lunch place that roasts real turkeys for their sandwiches. A bonus.
Slowing down....after all this travel I have an infection that has been diagnosed and will be cured in 4 days or so with prescription. This (as I've learned from my other dear LJ friends and RL friends) is a sign to slow down. Too many hours on planes. Nightmare travel week with the tornadoes and my favorite holiday weekend of the year just means I need to take it easy.
I need to catch up on laundry and house stuff because we leave for Florida on Monday morning. :) Yes, that's more travel I know but it's with my hubby so it's much better and more fun.
2 bottles in so far from my wine order from Sunday's Grand Tasting. 3 batches of homemade beer in the garage! Ah, time to relax.
