PYO
Went strawberry picking yesterday here with a friend. I had not done PYO strawberries in a very long time. They are very tasty! The farm I went to also featured a goat paradise--there is no better word to describe it (with different platforms way up and a pully system to deliver treats and lots of shade for them). There's also blueberry, cherry, raspberry, and peach picking at this farm.
After that we went hiking and had a picnic in the Groton area. :) It was hot out but a really great day!
From what I understand we had the hottest spring on record since the 1970s (urgh!) but the veggie garden seems to love it. I find myself dreaming of crisp fall days and it's only the first day of summer!
