Back to the Land of Milk and Honey (and cheese!)

Sep 19, 2007 17:00

I guess I'll start with today and work back.

I'm thinking of taking a cheese-making class with one of my co-workers and his sister. Yes, that's right a Western-MA pilgramage to learn how to make....cheese. Which making cheese at home breaks all sorts of laws, but screw them and the horse they rode in on.

Speaking of horses. Check out my Vacation photos. One of my favorites to take (yo, National Geographic) was leaning out the car window to a band (herd?) of Icelandic horses running by with a volcano crater in the background. Always follow the animals to higher ground.

And last night I tried a new restaurant in Marlboro, it rocked. I was pleased to be invited to a last minute party for my friend JM's B'day. We had a Starlight Mint fight in the parking lot after (never liked those stupid mints anyway). They also go far when kicked on the ground. Danger in MetroWest...starlight fights.

That's it. I'm bailing on book club tonight because I'm f-ing exhausted (still). My brain is telling me I only came back to America because of Maximus. That's just what Tyler and I told eachother on the plane. So you can thank Max for the fact that I'm still here.

P.S. The least favorite vacation photo was the one getting stuck in the snow (a very WET T is featured in the car in one shot after crawling under the car to get us un-stuck). We nearly died (no I'm not kidding...we were in the middle of no-where in a freak storm). Yep, that's how the Graves' do vacation. *sigh*

cheese, iceland
