DANG IT, I did not get to see the Oscars. By the time I got home I was totally under the control of a splitting headache, and the dadgum thing was telling me I had to go to bed or else I would die. So I went to bed. At like 8:30. And it was so AWESOME...you all should try going to bed early like that. It is so amazing.
BUT JAMIE FOXX SOOOOOO TOTALLY WON BEST ACTOR!!!!!!! He deserved it. Oh man he so did. And Hilary Swank won best actress and I knew she would. I am kinda disappointed that Martin Scorsese didn't get a best director. Of course, I have not seen either The Aviator or Million Dollar Baby, but if Scorsese has been nominated five times and not won yet, I think it is his turn to win. Cate Blanchett and Morgan Freeman took the Best Supporting Actor/Actress awards and Clint Eastwood got best director/best picture.
SOOOOOOOOOO, my weekend. Saturday was freakin awesome, I so totally woke Grace, Briley and Rachel up. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE yeah buddy. They were not happy, but it was freakin 11:00. I did not care. And I left at like noon anyway. Seriously guys. Then I went to Fort Worth to have a lovely flute lesson that was like 40 minutes late cuz of those crazy choir people. So I talked to Markus and Katie and Abigail for a little bit and that was awesome as are they. My lesson went reallllllllly well except for when I got out of the car to go into the building. All of a sudden I could not see and I thought I was gonna fall down and I got short of breath. It was very, very strange. I guess it was just nerves building up for solo/ensemble which is this Saturday......I'm playing at 8:28 AM. At least Katie Russell will be there. My goodness, she is one of my most favoritist people in the WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Katie Russell with the passion of a thousand FIERY BURNING TORCHES OH YES I DO OH YES I DO. She and Jordan like totally MAKE MY DAY at TAFA. It's so awesome.
So I must now make a shoutout to alllllllll the amazing choir geeks that did so wonderful at choir solo/ensemble...ahem. Markus, Caleb, Thomas, Katie, Kelsey, Carissa, and the Coney Island ensemble....YEAH!!!!!!!! And a special shoutout to Katie and Thomas because they won the Judge's Choice awards. WAY TO BE KATIE AND THOMAS!!!
Choir and band were okay, but frustrating because nobody knew their part. Seriously guys...I was like one of the VERY FEW sopranos that Mrs. Shannon did not have anything to say to about Gloria. Like nobody knew their part on Gloria. Neither did anybody know their part on Trombone King in band...we spent like an hour on just timpani and trombone. It was absolutely crazy. But I feel SO SO SO much better on my solo and those 32nds. Thank the Lord for that.
BSF was good, my leaders continue to drive me and Mindy insane with how boring they are. They are BSF Nazis, I swear. If such a thing is possible. It's ridiculous.
OH I forgot, I went to the mall in between band and my lesson and I got two shirts!!!!! The first one I LOOOOVE, it is blue and it's kinda like Mindy's new turquoise top, it's really nice. The other one I'm not so sure about. It's also blue and it's a sweater, but it is one of those where it looks like you have a white blouse underneath it. It is very big on me. I was really rushed when I bought it, so I may end up taking it back. I don't know. I can't decide. It looks good, it just looks a little too big for me.
Last night was good too, with spiritual u. and all. Carl at least remembered this time, and I did not get all frustrated with his talk like I did when he was preaching on the subject. Of course, I had a splitting headache at the time, so perhaps I wasn't concentrating as hard yesterday. I HATE HEADACHES. I hate them so much they should die.
BUT I LOVE KATIE AND JORDAN AND MARKUS AND AUDRA. Oh man guys. I do, I do.
And I'm out like a cheap psychiatrist who got hit in the stomach by a fat man with sores on his face.
