I found myself in the middle of a conversation today. It was only a little bit ago that I realized it was a little awkward.

I found myself talking about the definition of emotional cheating and whether or not it exists in the first place.

In my opinion, there is such a thing; and when trying to explain it, I realized, how can there not be such a thing as emotional cheating?

Here's how I see it.

When two people are in a relationship, there is a certain emotional connection. There is a different level of attachment, that's what makes it a romantic relationship.

Emotionally cheating is when one of the people start to disconnect themselves from the relationship, emotionally. It's when one person stops talking to their significant other and sharing emotions, yet, they turn and share those emotions with another person (and not Family or friends; ya'll know what I mean).

That is emotionally cheating.

It has also come to my attention that when I have asked females, they automatically know what I'm talking about. However, when I have talked to some guys, they don't seem to understand the concept. I find this frustrating.

I know that this is a meaningless post, but I thought that it was interesting. Whatever.
