Sakura couldn't even explain it to herself, how she fell for him that is. He was obnoxious and boisterous, loud as well, almost ridiculously so. His hair was messy and he seemed too care less about what he looked or smelled like. He was by far no Sasuke. Though, in his own right, he was quite a different man than Sasuke altogether. He had more heart, more emotion, he was not cold to her, and while he was rude, it was an unintentional brashness rather than a biting superiority. With as much brains and brawn as she knew she had, as much as she'd told herself she'd never fall in love, real love.... It happened.
Haruno Sakura found herself in love with an obnoxious, strange, dog-loving ninja. She fought hard to try to even understand where these emotions came from, why.... of all the people she knew, it was him, that fell deeply, almost hard, for? She heaved a sigh and ran a stressed hand through her short pink hair, she then hugged herself lightly. She'd just gotten back from a mission and couldn't even explain why these thoughts came to her now. It was a strange but beautiful day in Konoha and she took in a breath of the fresh air, tilting her head back to look up at the sky. She stopped walking; she was now just outside Ichiraku Ramen, still hugging herself and thinking.
He walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder. Then he whispered into her ear, "What are you daydreaming about?"
She blinked a few times and then came to, turning her head down, "Oh, it was nothing, Kiba-kun..." She wanted to ask him a number of things, but didn't want to startle him, she sighed lightly.
He took her hard, shifting her form to face him, scanning her eyes. He could tell something was bothering her. He learned from experience to never.... EVER, press her for information. Kiba resumed scanning her face, then ran his fingers through her hair and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Sakura returned the kiss, then rested her forehead against his, smiling and drowning in his gaze. He was not quite as obnoxious as he had been and he wasn't what others thought. He was kind. Passionate. Loving.
"Kiba, how is it that I fell for a dog boy?" She grinned, her voice teasing, her sea green eyes smiling as well.
"It's my magnificent charm and debonair mannerisms, ne?" He said in a sarcastically dramatic way and she giggled and kissed him again, nipping at his lip lightly.
In his arms, his embrace, she felt at home, it felt right.... Complete.... She closed her eyes and pulled him once more into a passionate kiss, wrapping her arms about him. If Kiba had a tail, it would have been wagging... VERY fast.
