Last night some of my friends got a hotel room at the San Carlos Hotel. Just in case you don't know, this is the 3rd most haunted hotel in the United States. I went with them and experienced some of the most frightening, odd, and unexplainable sensations. Nancy and I decided to go to the 7th floor by ourselves. Then Alex (the security guard/ grounds keeper) met up with us and started to tell us stories. He led us to the stairway to the rooftop where numerous people have committed suicide. Being stupid, I decided to walk up it by myself. I only got half way because it felt like someone was pushing me back and the hallway was moving as if I were on a boat at sea. I was paralyzed for a moment and thought I would surely pass out. Then I snapped out of it and walked downstairs, paler than pale.
Then, Alex took Amanda and I into the basement. We are both following him scared shitless at this point. The moment that basement door opened, I felt as if I were on stage performing for an audience that I knew was there but could not see. We walked back to where the well used to be. The well was built for the elementary school in the early 1900s in a spot where Indians used to perform rituals, and numerous children have died in this well. I felt such a strong presence of evil. Alex even freaked out at this point, and made us leave. He said that its never felt that bad before. He had goosebumps and was walking as if someone were trying to push him over.
This place is royally haunted. I mean chock full of spirits, ghosts, energy, and history. It has it all. So many various things happened... laughing, whispers, shadows, objects falling for no reason. You name it, it happened. I wound up leaving at 1:30 am because I felt so uneasy from the basement experience. I could not sleep well all night because of it. I still feel slightly ill and creeped out.
