So, I've been thinking off and on about New Years Resolutions. Everyone makes them, everyone breaks them, but it seems you're looked at as an anomaly if you don't at least make one even if you know you won't follow through.
There are a few things that are ongoing that I'd like to change, of course. I'd like to get back in shape, lose a few pounds, eat better, do more fun things, try more new foods/styles, get back into things I used to be into (like music, dancing), and learn new things like painting, keep my house cleaner, etc.. Will I make them a New Years Resolution? No, I don't think I will.
I realize it's a new year and a symbolic time to make changes in your life but to me that can be any day. It can be your birthday, Independence Day, Easter, a random Tuesday in June even. So why would I suddenly start doing something now just because of the date on the calendar?
I guess I'm rambling but I had a thought and wanted to get it out.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day and that everyone has a Happy New Year if our paths do not cross again before then.
