I've Been Doin' Stuffz.
So... yesterday was my last day of work... pause for applause. Anyway, in other news it is Jon's birthday tomorrow, so we decided to go wine tasting. Instead of going to Napa or Carmel, we went South... way South. I took a nap and by the time I woke up, to my surprise, we were in Paso Robles (2/3 the way to Santa Barbara mind you). The second winery we visited was the Firestone winery. At first we thought they were closed because the door was locked, but as we were walking away the door opened and we were beckoned back by Andrew Firestone himself. Andrew Firestone, naturally, of Firestone tires and The Bachelor fame. I love dumb luck. Not only was he there but he also let us go down to where the barrels were and test some of his baby wine, and he also helped us transport the boxes of wine we bought to our car. All of the other wineries were kind of lame though, and I was able to drink wine at about half without being carded, so I had some success. So yeah, that about it, for realz.
