Sure, I could help you, but where would be the fun in that?

-CHARACTER INFORMATION-
Canon Character and Series: Youichi Hiruma from Eyeshield 21
In-Game Name: Hiruma Youichi
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Position & Ship: Strategist on board the 4423.

Appearance: Hiruma's appearance can be best described as 'devilish'. He has blonde hair which he keeps spiked upwards, pointed ears with multiple piercings, and a mouth filled with long, pointed teeth that can open wider than what one generally feels comfortable looking at. The devilish appearance is assisted by the fact that he almost always seems to be grinning smugly. Although his appearance is clearly abnormal, it's not clear whether he's an actual demihuman, or if he deliberately made himself look like that in order to appear more intimidating, and he's certainly not telling anyone. The only thing known for certain is that his natural hair color is in fact black, but he is so fastidious about bleaching it that you could know him for years without ever seeing it.

Physically speaking, Hiruma can be best described as average: he stands at five feet, nine inches tall, and although he's not exactly skinny, he doesn't have much in the way of impressive musculature. He typically dresses in somewhat lazy fashion: although the shirts and trousers he wears are nice, the way he wears them -- loosely, improperly, untucked -- somehow makes him look more ungainly than wearing shabby clothing would. His terrible slouching posture doesn't help.

Personality: Imagine the devil. Imagine Satan himself. There, you've got Hiruma's personality.

Hiruma is used to having his own way, but he's not used to having it handed to him. When he wants something, he will go to any lengths to get it, from trickery and manipulation to outright blackmail. If he can take it by force, he will, but he'd much rather trick or extort whoever's in his way into giving it up himself.

Life for Hiruma is basically a game, with one objective: winning. He doesn't take well to losing out in anything he cares about, and when it does happen he will immediately begin working to ensure that it doesn't happen a second time. To enable him to 'win' at whatever he's doing, he will manipulate, exploit, and generally use everyone around him.

This devilish nature isn't all there is to him, however: he has a human side as well. He values his friends very highly, and cares for the people around him. He also appreciates it when someone works hard at an impossible task. However, this human side is very hard to notice unless you're close to him, because not only does he not like to let it show, he also expresses it in highly unusual ways. For example, if he gives you a kick or a swat to the back of the head without saying anything, it means that he's complimenting you.

He gives nicknames to everybody around him, typically in the form of "Fucking Descriptive Term". So, for example, 'Fucking Baldy', 'Fucking Shrimp, 'Fucking Dreads', etc.

Abilities/Weapons: Hiruma has a keen tactical mind, which he applies to both his personal life and his work. He is able to come up with uncountable numbers of strategies, to handle almost any circumstance he finds himself in, and can very quickly come up with a new approach when faced with a new problem. He prefers attacking to defending, wherever possible, using speed and firepower to win the day rather than relying on armor or other defences. He might get a little roughed up in the process, but hey. You should have seen the other guy. His mind works in odd ways, and frequently his strategies are so unexpected, or just plain bizarre, that his opponents are left wondering: 'What on earth just happened? And how did it work?'

Hiruma keeps a book full of blackmail material on everyone around him, which he calls his Extortion Book and keeps on him at all times. Of course, a book of blackmail material is useless if you don't have some way of gathering the blackmail material, and that is why Hiruma is also very capable as a spy. In addition to using those he already has under his thumb to pick up new information, he's skilled in the art of hacking into others' electronic journals. Basically, few secrets are safe with Hiruma around. Unless you keep your dirty laundry under an exceptionally tight lid, odds are good that it's sooner or later going to wind up in his little black book.

Hiruma collects firearms, and whenever possible carries several with him. He is a competant marksman.

Oh, and Hiruma is a very good gambler.

Weaknesses: Hiruma's attitude and personality tend to alienate people, which results in him not being very good at making friends.

Hiruma is gambler at heart. He will always, always, always bluff on a weak hand. This usually works out for him, because he's good at bluffing, but thanks to his second gambling tendency, when it doesn't work out the results are generally catastrophic. That second tendency is that if given the choice between quitting while he's ahead, and winning even more, he will always choose the second option. He doesn't want a partial victory: he wants to completely annihilate his opponents. This all applies both to his poker game and to how he lives his life, which means he has a tendency to overreach.

Hiruma's body is not particularly strong. In a fight he will use any and all dirty tricks he knows to try and gain the upper hand, but direct confrontation is really something he would be better off avoiding, as it would most likely not end well for him.

Hiruma is cocky. No, cocky fails to even begin to describe it. He has perfect confidence in himself, and his plans. Things will fall into place exactly as he intends. To be blunt, he is almost always overconfident.

History: Hiruma grew up in Bellcius, and was a horrible delinquent. It would not, however, be correct to say that he fell in with the wrong crowd: to be accurate, he CREATED the wrong crowd.

Left to his own devices by inattentive parents, he wandered the streets, causing all sorts of trouble. Together with another troublesome child, Agon Kongo , who was extremely gifted physically, Hiruma started up what could basically be called a two-boy crime syndicate. Hiruma would pick out targets who had dirty laundry that Hiruma could use to blackmail them, and then Agon would go shake them down. Not only would they make a tidy profit by taking the poor guy's hard-earned money, Hiruma could use him to gather information on other people, thus expanding his Extortion Book (and profits!) at an exponential rate.

During his wanderings, he found a maintenance door with a broken lock in one of the city's bigger skyscrapers, and headed straight up to the roof. From there, he was able to see Navy airships as they performed training exercises and war games. He was fascinated by the movements and power that the great ships executed, and of the strategy involved in planning those movements. He returned several times, watching through (stolen) binoculars, and quickly figuring out the basics of airship strategy. He even began scribbling down his own tactics, based on his observations.

He shared his newfound fascination with Agon when the two of them waylaid a few cargo vessels, making a ridiculous amount of money in the process (and getting away with it too, thanks to his little black book). They decided to enter the Belarus Academy together, and between Agon's natural abilities and Hiruma's intelligence, they both managed to get in.

They both excelled in their classes, but near the end of their first year Hiruma and Agon had a falling out so extreme that it prompted Hiruma to drop out of the academy altogether. In fact, not only did he drop out, he left town. And not only did he leave town, he actually found passage across the badlands and moved to Vohemar, where he promptly put his skills to use and joined on with a pirate crew.

Eventually, he moved over to the 4423, where he currently occupies himself by being exceptionally good at his job, and by being an unholy terror to his subordinates.
