They would certainly have to be skilled in deception to pull such a feet, as well as have allies on both other ships to continue the facade of safety.

I would also look to that person for whom damaged our engine in the first place.

Yeah. This. Kropmork's definitely got something to do with it. It's way too big a goddamn coincidence that bombs start going off on all three of the ships that were moored there, at the same time.
