Wh... What is this? I can hardly hold the pen right, and I... I dropped the books I was holding, I couldn't feel them in my hands anymore! And I can't... even now, I can't...

*on her knees and closing and opening her fists to try and get some kind of feeling in them, but then looks up at Shadow when he arrives and does her best to get rid of the distressed look on her face* ...Shadow? What's wrong?

-gestures a bit to his throat then gives up, going over to her and holding her hands in his, looking up at her with worry-

*squeezes his hands as gently as possible since she doesn't want her grip to be too hard without her realizing it~ >:* Your... voice?

-nods slightly and gives her hands a gentle squeeze, his face showing his annoyance at all of this-

*can't feel the squeeze, so looks down at their hands and tries not to show how this is making her feel* I can't... feel. I-It's as if my sense of touch is gone.

-frowns at this, putting a reassuring hand on her arm-

*just shakes her head to indicate that she can't feel that, but reaches her free hand to stroke the top of his head with a very light touch, trying to be careful* I'm so sorry about your voice... I'm... I'm sure we can find something for you to write on!

-shakes his head, really wishing he could say not to worry about him, keeping his hand on her arm-

*manages to round the corner, keeping one hand on the wall as he looks around blindly, though his eyes pass Maria and Shadow a few times* Maria! Shadow! Are you two all right?

-looks over as he hears Leo coming, confused at first but quickly realizes that he can't see anything, unable to answer for the two of them-

*looks first at Leo, then Shadow, and then back at Leo* W-We're fine! *pauses to get rid of the waver in her voice DX* Leonardo, are you... you can't see?

*looks towards her voice and starts to slowly steps towards them, frowning and shaking his head at Maria's question* No, I can't... What about you two? *kneels down close to where he heard her voice* It sounds like you can see.

-scowls a little but just folds his arms across his chest, looking at Leo first then back to Maria, waiting to see what she says to do-

Yes, we can see. We've all lost something different, it seems. I've lost my touch, and Shadow's... lost his voice. *strokes Shadow's head a few more times both to soothe him and herself, biting her lip as she thinks of what they should do* We need to get out of here...

*nods, soon shutting his eyes so that they won't be unnerved by his staring at a different spot* Yes, I agree. You can leave me here if you wish, I'll just be an extra burden for you two.
