These guys have no idea yet what kind of a Mother Bear Dadan can really become! (And... I guess Sabo never will find out, either. ;______;) But of course it makes total sense that Makino is the closest to the maternal ideal for Luffy and the other two.

Such a very sweet final image... and Ace's dream, augh, so very close to angst as is the way of Ace things.

Oh my gosh this is so sweet; I can almost see it playing in my head if it where animated with little thought bubbles and funny images and everything as they talk about certain mother figures xD

But it quickly turns sweet and ugggh the implication of Rouge at the end kills me! It's really too bad Ace never got to know his true mother...

Great characterization too. You write such a good Luffy especially!
