[ The dream tonight is a bit more of a scientific setting than perhaps you are used to. It's in the hallway of an old battlecruiser, the lights flickering on and off. Once you turn, there is a woman standing with her back to you She's in a light white sandex suit, her oddly formed hair pulled up into a high ponytail

[ backing uuuuup Aerith is not interested in fighting. ]

Hey, hey! What's that look for? I didn't think I was that intimidating.

[ Kerrigan gives a small laugh. The girl is far from intimidating, and she can sense that. She's no real threat, but Kerrigan doesn't trust her. Her expression softens just a tad. ]

What are you doing here?

[auncyenhalig]

Mmm... [ She shuffles back and forth on her feet for a moment. ] Dreaming. Or daydreaming, I suppose. [ People don't always realize what's going on, after all. ] I'm really not here to cause any trouble.

Dreaming. How could dreaming bring you here?

[auncyenhalig]

Hmm, same way it could bring me... [ She backs up a few steps more, just around a corner and out of sight--and when she next speaks, her voice is coming from the other end of the hallway, her waving playfully. ] Here!

[ not the plainest answer, but she figures it shows things aren't exactly "normal". ]

[ Kerrigan isn't that amused. Still, she calms herself. It's clear the girl isn't much of a threat. ]

Something must be causing this.

[ Aerith amuses herself; as long as the other person isn't being hostile she can roll with it. Though that doesn't stop her from commenting, ] So serious...

It's been going on for a few months now, for me. But it could be any amount of time for other people, and I don't know what it is. It doesn't seem bad so far, though.

And you've done nothing to find out what it is?

[auncyenhalig]

That's not very nice, jumping to assumptions. [ She pouts, but she can only shrug her shoulders. ] I've tried asking around. And I've got an idea or two... but they're based on what I know about my Planet. It seems like everyone's is different. [ She shakes her head. ] And some of us don't even live on Planets, apparently! Space again. Cid would love this.

Everyone assumes things. Even the people who say they don't. [ Don't mind her, Aerith. She's just on edge, untrusting, and filled with hate. ] Space travel is a way of life in the Kuouplu Sector.

[auncyenhalig]

I suppose that's true, but there's other ways to try those assumptions.

...Ah... ... Nope, don't know what that is. "Kuouplu" sounds a little like a moogle kind of name.

[ She is thinking of these cute things, and yes, her brain is on a tangent. ]

My way of life involves both feet on solid earth, but I don't mind taking off every once in a while.

[ ...that thing. Kerrigan doesn't even know really what to think of it, besides a weird stuffie for kids. ]

Do you have something against space travel?

[auncyenhalig]

Only that so far, whenever they try it on my world, something seems to go awry. An old one even crashed into the church! No one got hurt, but still. Not exactly promising for me seeing space outside these dreams.

And... it's not really a bad thing, but it does feel different out here. [ She can't hear the Planet, after all, so it makes for a peculiar absence. ]

It just may take years to master.

[ It took Earth awhile anyways. ] It is different. But, it's far from being free.

[auncyenhalig]

[ Aerith turns back toward the other woman, her head tilted in concern. ] Even out here... you don't feel free?

No one is ever really free. Remember that.
