[ This dream is a treat for all those who find themselves with the Doctor. As normal, he's spinning around the console and piloting the ship that looks like it's made out of odds and ends. Then they hand wrote things. There's always a way of finding out the date that doesn't involve asking. When you ask, people look at you strangely. They think you ought to know the date.

[ He grins. ] So, Professor Xavier! Charles. What sort of Halloween do you like the most, eh? Most likely the TARDIS has already figured it out.

[ Taps his head. ] Then I won't ask.

[ He looks about. ] You know, I never really celebrated Halloween, Doctor. [ He looks about the room that he's in. He's completely comfortable walking about other people's dreams by now. Time travel wasn't the most expected result of it, though. ]

I always preferred parties. Less dressing up, more enjoyi8ng the company.

[ The Doctor snaps his fingers and points at Charles. You'd think he'd remember the man is telepathic, but then again he's so very used to humans not being telepathic. It's a bit of a weird thing. Though the admitting makes him stop and turn back to him. ]

You never celebrated Halloween? Even as a child? What sort of child doesn't at least put a sheet over their head and run around their house going 'BOO'?

[ The answer would be 'an only child'. What fun is it to do it in mirrors and run around the house screaming boo at nothing. He just smiles instead. ] I might be a little weird, then.

[ Turns a little bit and looks around the room. ] Well, unless I was trying to scare someone away. I don't think that a ten year old shouting boo at a grown man is terribly frightening, though?

That's alright. I like the weird ones.

[ He puts his hands on his hips and grins. ] That all depends on the grown man. You wouldn't think weeping angels would be terrifying, but I have seen plenty of grown men be terrified! Including me, though the 'grown up' bit is up for debate.

The statues? Yes, they're a little creepy. Terrifying might be an overstatement, though. [ For some reason he thinks maybe...you're not talking about exactly what he's thinking. ]

That's only because you haven't realized that they move when you're not looking.

Ah, well, I can't imagine how we'd realize that they were moving if we can't see it. Humankind is very skeptical.

You wouldn't be confused if one moment a statue was there, then when you turned back, it was gone?

Statues do not move where I am from. Different worlds, after all.

That you know of, at least. Have you ever seen one move? No. Then how do you know it doesn't move?

Well, I'd assume you'd know where it was standing before you looked away.
