[A young Japanese woman, dressed well for work, heads towards the man in the suit with a cup of steaming liquid and the telltale scent of coffee.]

While you wait?

[She flashes a pert smile, as though the coffee is no more than an excuse to be here, inside this building. The office-style clothes aren't even hers; not in waking life, or here. They're courtesy of her teletia-s device.]

[ Loki turns his head to her and simply raises an eyebrow. Then he shakes his head. ]

No, thank you. I am fine as it is.

Are you waiting for an appointment? [Something about the pleasantries is just a bit off, like she's playing a role.]

[ He smiles in return, bowing his head slightly. ]

Simply passing the time. Please, continue with your duties. I'd hate to keep you from them.

[Ah, but she doesn't mind saying it to him:] I don't have any duties here. This place exists because of your dream.

An odd sort of dream, don't you think?

[She doesn't find the form of address odd; after all, in her world she is Lady Mercury, and in dreams she's never kept that wholly separate from Mizuno Ami.

Shaping a dream that isn't yours may not be the best option.

That depends on the sort of attack one goes for.
