[There's light, bright and almost blinding, intense and overwhelming. The sun's rays are hot, beating down on whoever decideds to brave them and venture outside. The beach was supposed to be a refuge, a cooler place away from the hussle and bussle of every day life. But this one was different.
The water was cooler, yes, a place to play and splash around. To come with friends and family. But for one younger man, this beach stands for something different. Misery, isolation, imprisonment. Happiness, joy, love, understanding. Take your pick. Any and all apply. Silver hair flutters in the breeze, the soft waves splashing up over the dark material of his pants, wetting it. Going into the middle of the water fully dressed might seem like a stupid idea to most, but there was a reason. There was always a reason.
The door had been opened once more, and he could feel the darkness beginning to seep back into the island, back into the world, trying to over take it. It's power over him was increasing, his hold over it failing. Soon, the islands would be encased in darkness. And it would be all his fault.
His attention and body turned, bright green eyes landing on the shore line, half expecting to see someone standing there, but finding no one. What would be fight for this time? If his friends weren't there to push him, what would he hold on to.
He reaches out, only to find nothing as the water behind him begins to rise.]
[OOC: So, basically the scene from KH except with KHII Riku. It's his greatest fear, to loose his friends and fade back into darkness, so, good place to start.]
