Abilities (for luceti)

I am lazy and will be using a ton of references, but here goes nothing.

As I have emphasized, Mu is a very, very powerful opponent on the battlefield, having fought against one of the Six Heroes without breaking a sweat, being a weapon intended to take down a god, and on top of that technically being a perfect Black Beast. She is not to be taken lightly, but I just can't keep throwing around what she can do; I'll need to throw what she actually does in a fight and you, the reader, can work from there. Since I'm actually kind of rushing (since I promised myself to get this up tonight) expect a ton of links and excerpts.

All right, moving on.

Appearance-wise:

"Being Noel's true form, Mu's physical appearance remains the same with the exception of her eyes having changed to a soulless blue featuring tiny pupils and her long blond hair with a distinct fray. Outside of combat, her outfit is similar to Nu's but with a more elaborate and advanced design featuring lights and thigh-high toeless socks. She wears an armored headplate featuring long horns like Hakumen's. When in battle, she dons armor similar to Nu and Lambda with the same general design and floating blades. However her armor shows off much of her skin, retaining little of Noel's NOL outfit, which seems to have disintegrated and features large pauldrons that contain what appear to be her Azure Grimoire."-BlazBlue Wikia

For image reference, here is a picture of her pre-battle outfit. Not bad.

...here is a picture of what she wears when she fights (potentially NSFW). Yes, I realize it's ridiculous.

Let's move onto a description of how she fights:

"As with her sister units, Mu is a very deadly opponent on the battlefield. As the Kusanagi Unit, she was designed for the sole purpose of destroying the Amaterasu unit. When fusing with the Kusanagi sword, she dons an advanced version of the armor worn by Nu and Lambda. Like them, she has the ability to hover and fly through the air and can use the disembodied swords behind her to attack and defend herself. She is also able to conjure up an energy barrier by forming the blades into a rhombus-like formation. Mu possesses spatial related powers, preemptively striking opponents by opening wormholes and stabbing her weapons through to the other side and attack them at a distance.

Mu's drive is Steins Gunner which involves Mu displacing floating units across the battlefield. These units come in three types depending on the number of blocks which open up several offensive options, mostly in attacking the opponent from all angles and even reflecting off of each other in order to disorient the opponent's focus. These units will fire a beam of energy when initially deployed but Mu can fire her own beams into these units to maximize their potency."-BlazBlue Wikia

A quick explanation on what drives are: In BlazBlue, like all other fighting games, each character has a unique set of moves that center around their Drives. They have different names, so Ragna's is "Soul Eater", Taokaka's is "Dancing Edge", Bang's is "Burning Heart", and Mu's is "Steins Gunner".

As gameplay doesn't always counter into roleplay (because Mu obviously won't be fighting in the same path, for instance) I should note, as evidenced in story mode, that getting hit by these beams can be potentially fatal as they act like real lasers would.

A list of Mu's moves can be viewed here.

Finally, I think it would be a good idea to provide you all with some more visual references--this time showing how she moves in battle.

Firstly, a few examples of her sprites. Ignore Terumi. >_>;

Most importantly, VIDEOS! Keep in mind while you view these that during the plot, since we have people like Goku and Superman running around, Mu will be in her unlimited mode. In story mode, she is in this mode the whole time, so I could argue that this is her default mode kind... of. Yeah, idk. Here we go:

Hazama versus Unlimited Mu I promise not to spam the orbs.
Mu's distortions and astrals (aka special attacks and... sure why not--"mystic arte"). See here, too.

Unlimited Mu Combo Movie.
Mu versus Mu

That's pretty much it, guys. I think. If you have any questions, just run them by me. \o
