Yesterday, Dad, a neighbor, and I had to pull change our well pump. The line had to valves on it, so the water wouldn't drain out as we were picking it up. There was maybe 180 ft. of 1 inch pipe. It was a helluva job.
I voted in the Primaries. Since I'm an independent, I voted for the Republicans. Damn Democrats won't even let me cast a vote for them.
I just finished a rewrite for the 5th act of Pygmalion. It has a somewhat different ending, but I suppose its ok.
Heritage Day was today. I played chess, read, and played cards. It was a horrible waste of a day. It was the happiest I've been in a long time. I also competed in the pie-eating contest. Tanre (our token black student) tossed his pie in my face after we were done eating. I reciprocated the favor and put mine on top of his head.
Yes, it was an enjoyable day indeed.
