I just returned from a 5 day visit at McGuire AFB in New Jersey. It was a good time. I look forward more than ever to commissioning, though I now know more than ever that as an engineer, I will be more of an administrator than an engineer. “So it goes” is the best way I know of dealing with the world around me. Three kids’ bodies are found in a car trunk and you sigh and say “So it goes…” and somehow, even though it doesn’t make the situation right or even remotely better, it’s a pill that’s a little easier to swallow.
KV makes tragedy funny, or at least put it in perspective. I’m not sure when I’m going to start reading grown up books. I can’t seem to read anything but novels either.
I just got done visiting your new and improved site. My my! It is a work of art! I am tremendously impressed! And yes, Mozilla Firefox is the shit.
