Weekend Recap

Oct 31, 2004 22:29

Tonight was trick-or-treating for the rats. Loads of fun. My fellow co-dykes (rats owned by my dyke and dyke's roommates; my uncle dykes) were dressed as follows:

Bennie- as a cow
Jones- in a Batman costume designed for a four year old (fit his little frame surprisingly well; the camel toe was a bit much though)
Zurcher- in the garb of a gladiator, complete with hefty plate as shield, Mark's saber, and a baseball glove over his face for a face shield
Ruppert- as a dirty Commie Russian; wearing overcoat with a dirty face, and with a mushy blue pillow as a head covering
Bryce and myself- as Siamese-twin thieves (complete with 3X sweatshirt and huge pantyhose covering both of our heads)

It was an excellent time. All of the costumes were hilarious--everything from some gay seamen, Fuhrer and friends, and VMI cheerleaders. Upperclassmen all around had smiles on their faces. Other than candy, we also had condoms, various tobacco products, tea powder (a personal favorite), and UVA applications handed out.

The only thing that could possibly put a damper on the weekend was the events that transpired last night. I skipped out on an evening with co-dykes and dykes to go to eat Chinese with my parents. Unbelievably, almost all of my cadre also had a similar idea. I came back to spend the rest of the evening with my dykes. As I was headed up to my room just before taps, a large number of Alpha rats were headed down the stairs. I, being completely clueless as to what the hell was going on, jumped in line with them.

Apparently, a few Rat Challenge cadre were "balled-up" by some of my fellow Alpha rats. They thought it would be even funnier to get our third corporal up to the room and jump him too. Big mistake. Once they lured him in the room, he went nuts. I think none of the upperclassmen were in a "proper state of mind." I'm still not certain what kind of penalties rats and upperclassmen will incur, but nothing good can come from this. For that matter, I'm not even sure what kind of involvement the administration has this matter (the less the better).

At SRC tonight, our cadre told us that we weren't to answer them anymore; that we are in essence being disowned.

Interesting days lie ahead (as always).
