Ourbedrooms post
So, in honor of this being my last official full day in my dorm room, I have decided to show you all what my room used to look like. Right now everything is cleared out and shipped home, but I'm not officially going home until tomorrow (I still have finals all week buuut, I'll be coming back individually for them)
This would be my nerd-tastic door. Yes I am a Kingdom Hearts, Kurt Halsey and Disney/Pixar fan. My roommate is a big anime fan. So there's that for you.
This is the back of the door, I'm also a big Harry Potter fan. The other picture is my roommates from when she lost something of hers. The two post it notes say "fuck shoes" and "fuck keys" which were placed on the door so that my friends don't keep leaving their keys and shoes in our room.

Umph, this is where I spent most of my time in this room. My desk is the one with the green hoodie draped over the chair. I keep all my make-up, writing supplies, reading, and art supplies in this general area and pretty much lived with my butt glued to this desk for a year.
Close up of the pictures beside my desk. The calendar was a Christmas gift from a friend, the vase was a gift from my mom, and the hat on the cat was from the name tags our RA's made us. The picture above that was a birthday gift from a friend.
Close up of my birthday gift. Me and my friends are very into pokemon and all have pokemon "personas" so, he decided to draw me a comic of a funny event that happened between me and him. I thought we were racing to the garbage can to dump our food out because he was kind of running there. I ran to catch up to him to dump my food out first and ended up dumping cake all over his hand as shouted "I WIN"
My top shelf all together. The two pictures were both done by me, The charcoal one done in High school and the other one was from finger painting. From left to right, there's books (most of which are school books because I brought all my real reads home to reduce packing), baskets with pencils, pins, ect. Cutesy picture of me and my boy from two Chistmas's ago, my PSP, wooden mannequin that just kind of chills around, and my girly nook of girly-ness. Below all that are post it note and cards. Most of the post it notes are inside jokes between me and my post it note loving friend. The same person who draw my birthday comic makes all the post it notes and slaps them around my room.

Another girly corner in the back of my desk. Make-up case I got from wal-mart ages ago, The first doll is from my pen pal in Singapore, the second one is amazing smelling solid perfume from clairs, Next one is called Twinkle Stardust from dots, and the sunflower spray is from CVS. Smells... amazing man.
Below the shelf is my inspiration wall, I'm an art major and love to have pretty pictures on the wall as inspiration all the time. The one black and white picture of the couple dancing is one that I took a few Summers ago.
More wall and my zuzu pet my roommate got me as a birthday present. It needs a dress and batteries... Picture of Ron/Hermoine Ummphf!
The one picture next to that is on the Hudson River in Albany, NY where I live, I took that one too.
My current project for 3D is to make an oversized, textured version of a normally small object. It's a giant PSP . I had a lot of fun with it, but it's done now. I'll post pictures of it soon.

Bed views and windows sill. I painted this at my floors finger painting event as well. I would really like to do a big canvas version of this for my wall at home. I believe that will be my summer project.
I made the pillows last Summer, the one in back is reversible. The stuffed animal is Uroburos the hedgehog, his name is a resident evil reference and he's a cheesy gift from my boyfriend :] I love him so much. He's probably the most loved cheesy valentines day stuffed animal ever.

I'm also a gamer, so I moved my game setup to college (The nintendo is my roommates) the Playstation 2 is mine an there is a Xbox 360 on the floor. Dual Heros is in the Nintendo right now, it is my boyfriends.

Since I had pretty lights in my room (and usually they're there all year long in my room) I'll leave you all with a night view and what i normally looked like on every given night.
There it is. I really liked this room and I'm going to miss it. I'm going to go home and revamp my own room though, possibly get a new mattress and throw a lot of things out. For anyone who I'm not already friends with on LJ, new friends are always welcome :)
