Christmas and such.
Christmas ended up not as bad as I thought it would be, so I guess I'm happy about that. ALSOOOOOOOO, THANK YOU SO MUCH zenelly . She sent me The World Ends With You, which I have been looking for FOREVER! BAH! I started playing it on the car ride back to the boonies but my DS wasn't charged enough and died half way, but I got a bit past the second day. I'll be glad to geek out over it with you once I am finished.
Other christmas things I got.
A sewing machine from my mom
Legend of the Guardian DVD (because I'm a big fan of owls)
A new scarf
A hat and glove set
A Beatles shirt
A new necklace and bracelet
The sims 3 Nightlife
A kitty calander from my college friend
A drawing of Axel/Roxas from my roommate (BAH, what did I do, getting her into Kingdom Hearts :] )
A temporary ghetto Ipod until I can get an Ipod touch
and $150 towards my Ipod touch from my dad
I have all the rest of the money for the Ipod touch though, so now it's just a matter of either getting to the store to see if they have refurbished ones in store or ordering online. I'm so fucking excited. I've been without music for too long.
I made James a custom pair of Vans which came out WONDERFUL. I would post a picture but I forgot my camera batteries. I guess I'll post that tomorrow.
I also worked more on my Kingdom Hearts sims. Sooooo, I started making a new town filled with nothing but Kingdom Hearts characters. Soon I began adding random Final Fantasy Characters that are my personal favorites but aren't featured in Kingdom Hearts. So now I just suppose it's a Square Enix world. A lot of the clubs/bars/community lots are going to be based off of locations in the various games. Unfortunately my progress has been put on hold because my cord died! I swear the cord was loose when I got the thing, but I thought it would hold out a little longer than this! I'm buying a new computer as soon as I can get a hold of enough money. Ugh.
Other than that Christmas was largely uneventful. Me and James woke up to open things and then went right back to bed for most of the day until dinner.
Speaking of which, James needs a job. I feel so bad because he's really trying hard but no places are hiring him. He's upped his game a little though. He wrote a resume and it going to hand it to everywhere he applies. He applied to six flags in Lake George and when he gets an interview he's going to bring his resume. I'm crossing my fingers. If not this job than I hope he gets one soon. If you guys would keep him in your thoughts and send him your good luck that would be much appreciated. He could really use it.
Not doing anything special for New Years. Pretty much just sitting around playing video games. I hope everyones New Years eve is wonderful.
