Corruption in the oil industry!
Wow. I remember writing an entry, either on here or diaryland, a few years ago talking about how fucked up it felt to have a father making a lot of money in the oil industry and profiting from higher gas prices as a result of the Iraq War.
My brother sent me an email today with this article about the company my father works for. The CEO pled guilty for bribing US congressmen into passing certain bills that would help the company.
I'm not worried that my dad is involved in any of this stuff, but I really don't know how to handle this news right now...
