Wham! Wham! Wham! Dammit. (part deux)
I'm not sure what it is exactly about my posting to LJ that makes my computers commit suicide. When I last posted on a regular basis, I ended up discovering exactly how many screws held together my demon spawn ibook (58, if I recall correctly).*
Now, just a few posts in and I manage to semi-fry my harddrive. Again. Ok, so this time I stepped on it, so it's not officially the p-book's fault, but still I'm filing this under the LJ Curse. It's been a while since I backed anything up (of course), so I hope the losses are minimal. So once again my computer/internet access is coming in fits and starts. I'm going to try to swap out harddrives and hope that's the extent of the damage. Real job or not, I won't be affording a new computer right now.
*By the way, if anybody might need any spare ibook parts, they've been cleanly and thoroughly dissected for your use and enjoyment. Just ask and they're yours.
