friday night lauren came over and we watched vh1 behind the scenes: shrek 2, hahaha. around 9, we went to shelby's going away party. i thought that was a lot of fun. i thought it was pretty stupid that most of the people who went to it didn't even know who shelby was, let alone that it was HER going away party. me and lauren hung around with shelby a lot which was awesome. i think it's safe to say i couldn't stand a good 7/8th's of the people there. anyway, skye's backyard is incredible, it was like soemthing out of the playboy mansion addition of cribs. there was a cookie cake so of course i had to get some of that. around 11:15 i called my sister and she came and picked us up. we gave bonnie a ride home, too. after we dropped lauren off, my sister and bonnie were discussing bonnie's older brother. ashley went to a concert with him a year or so ago. i guess it's a small world after all.
saturday was my sister's graduation. i woke up and drove with my mom to go get donuts. YUMMY. i spent the afternoon just laying around in my room. then i took a shower and dressed up all semi-formal-like and took pictures with ashley. lauren came over about an hour before we left and we worked on our geography reviews. after that, we left to go downtown. we ate at good company seafood, which is kind of near where i used to live downtown. gooood food, and i'm not even a seafood fan. after we finished eating we drove to u of h. the humble graduation just finished when we got there, so it was like a sea of purple. imagine a gay right's parade and you'll be close. when we were walking in the door we saw jordon fields, she was one of the girls handing out programs. we said hey to her then followed my parents to get seats. lauren and i got separated from my parents so we ended up taking a detour to the bathroom then back to the section where my parents were seated. we saw paige and her family while we were trying to find my parents. before it started, tino came by and said hey. he saw us from across the whole auditorium, he must have some mad eagle-like vision. he decided to sit with us. the whole graduation part wasn't as bad as everyone said it was going to be. they called ashley's name and we all cheered our little hearts out. after she went, tino and i would cheer for people with cool last names, like one girl who's last name was "gays". when landon hendrix(i think that's his name) was called, he received a standing ovation. it was really awesome. no one should ever have to go through what he has been going through. after everyone was called, they all threw their hats in the air. so that's it, my sister has graduated. wow. these last four years sure have gone by too fast.
today i woke up and called lauren. i thought she would already be up, so i didn't mean to wake her. whoops lol. i've spent the day trying to look over my geography and biology reviews since i have those two exams tuesday. biology will be really easy like always but i need to try to spend a lot of time studying geography. as we speak, jaston and ashley(my sister, for those who skipped the second paragraph) are at the midtown concert at java jazz. they left right when it started so i told her i bet it would be sold out when they got there but it wasn't. i would've gone if i didn't have to study so much. stupid finals...
well the bright side is after tuesday, i just have to go in late to take my easy english exam and i'll be done. i don't have to go to school thursday which is stupendous. my pizza from j. christopher's just got here so i think i'll go enjoy that. jealous? i hope so.
