Here are my top 25. This was so hard! I think a calculus problem would have been easier. I listed my top 25 and put a little commentary next to it. Share your list if you'd like I'm curious...

1. Smiths - Reel Around The Fountain [the lyrics are so innocent and so jaded and calculated at the same time]

2. Morrissey - I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday [gives me hope]

3. Cure - Pictures of You [reminds me of somebody very special]

4. Depeche Mode - Behind The Wheel [sexy]

5. Joan Jett - Do You Wanna Touch [pure rock & roll]

6. David Grey - Say Hello Wave Goodbye [reminds me of how me & my ex broke up]

7. Roy Orbison - It's Over [makes me want to killl myself with a dull butter knife that's rusty]

8. The Cranes - Paris and Rome [reminds me of someone special and she sounds like a little girl on helium]

9. The Sundays - I Kicked A Boy [the lyrics are so clever and wicked but the melody is so happy go lucky, pure contradiction]

10. Smashing Pumpkins - Ava Adore [amazing lyrics]

11. Tony Bennett - Smile [makes me cry every time]

12. Johnny Cash - Cocaine Blues [I'd have liked to have gone on that trip with him so long as I didn't get in trouble]

13. Soundgarden - Slaves and Bulldozers [bass drives me nuts]

14. The Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go [pure rock & rolll]

15. Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees [breathtaking lyrics and vocals]

16. Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road [Bruce was my very first concert and I remember this one the best]

17. Massive Attack - Black Milk [sensual as all getout]

18. Robyn Hitchcock - Balloon Man [makes me happy and sing outloud and skip around town every single time]

19. Weezer - Island In The Sun [same reason as #18]

20. U2 - One Love [lyrics get to me, make me feel unified, happy and sad at the same time]

21. Lillian Axe - Letters In The Rain [amazing vocals and very powerful]

22. Bon Jovi - I'll Be There For You [me & Amy used to sing this in harmony in the car and boy that was fun]

23. Warrior Soul - I See The Ruins [pure angst and raw]

24. Big Country - In A Big Country [classic rock & roll and I love the Irish feel]

25. The Cure - Fascination Street [listen to this one only focusing on the bass line and you'll be amazed]
