Today to celibate Bryan and jenny and I are going to The Fat Burrito for lunch. I wrote this review after my first visit. I think it turned out well so I thought I would post

The Fat Burrito is a Mexican Restaurant located at Campus Pointe near Western Michigan University. Because The Fat Burrito is located in a strip mall, it has a rather boxy, dull, outside appearance like all the other businesses in the area. However, once a person steps inside this establishment, they are greeted by anything other than a drab, dull environment. When you enter The Fat Burrito you will be stuck by a bright, colorful, child friendly atmosphere. There are a lot of windows allowing the outside light to shine in. The wall contains a mural depicting a scene in Mexico, which adds to the experience of the restaurant. Although it is a good place for children it is not too noisy so it makes for an inviting location to many different groups of people including a study area for college students. This restaurant is laid out nicely with large open spaces to allow for wheelchair access.

The menu at The Fat Burrito includes a typical Mexican style fare. This includes burritos, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and some side dishes. There are also salads and a lighter fare available. Daily specials include an entrée and a drink for an affordable price. The average entrée is between $6 and $9 with the most expensive item being a gigantic stuffed wet burrito for $11. These prices are comparable to those of Taco Bell and Qdoba, however the quality of the food is much higher making this a better value. The food is served in generous portions with the meat tender and well-seasoned. The guacamole is homemade with a lot of cilantro giving it that extra burst of flavor.

The service at The Fat Burrito is both quick and extremely friendly. The business is family owned and operated. The staff are great at giving suggestions about what to order. Overall I would recommend The Fat Burrito for anyone who wants some good Mexican food at a reasonable price. I enjoyed my Fat Burrito experience and I will definitely go back in the future.
