And I couldn't stop it
I stared in horror
Eyes wide
Mouth open
What had I done?
I stared at my hands
Blood soaked
Dripping onto the concrete below
What had I done?
She fell to the ground
In an achingly slow way
And let out her last breath
What have I done?
Her screams and shrieks
Filled the air
But I couldn't hear them
I hurt her again and again
And again
What am I doing?
The light glinted off my blade
As I walked
Slowly
Carefully
Towards her.
I sneered in satisfaction
As metal touched skin
And the first drop
Came hesitantly out
I stared out the window
The view blocked
By fine bars of steel
What had I done?
I stared in horror
Eyes wide
Mouth open
What had I done?
