Luna laughed into the dark night, the high pitched shriek that Draco often associated with Bellatrix sent a chill down his spine. He saw that Luna's blond hair shimmered under the moonlight and he saw the eerie look in her face. He wouldn't have imagined.

"Luna, we must go inside," he said. "We might get caught."

Luna laughed again and pursed her lips, looking at Draco with an intense glare. She shook her head. "No, Draco. You will do as I say or the Dark Lord will be very angry with both of us." Luna smiled that innocent smile which Draco had come to learn was not that innocent.

Draco couldn't blame her, really. The Dark Side was inviting, reeling you in slowly, attracting you with its black claws and kissing your mind with the darkest of ideas. It would breathe down your neck and caress you like silk sheets. But once you joined it, everything felt a hundred times more amplified. Better.

Draco approached Luna and smiled at her. "When did you turn like this?" he asked her without really expecting an answer. This new Luna was a Luna he loved. He put a hand on the back of her neck, loving the way she reacts to his touch.

She closed her eyes and sighed. "I was never another way," she said and then opened her eyes. The old Luna had vanished from her voluntarily. She knew that she couldn't use her intelligence to run a stupid old newspaper like The Quibbler. Luna had known deep down that her intelligence should be put into better use elsewhere.

"Let's go inside," Draco tried again, putting a bit of preassure in her neck, steering her away from the still lake. He had found Luna here many times and he knew what it meant, it meant that she was getting ready to leave him.

Draco wouldn't have minded were it not for the fact that his senses had been long ago overshadowed by his love. Afterall, Luna was going to leave him to better serve the Dark Lord. He knew that her talents couldn't be wasted and it was foolish to think that she would rather settle down with him.

Luna agreed to go inside this time, letting Draco lead her into the house. It was their house. They had bought it after they left Hogwarts and they had rarely been in it. Luna knew that Draco liked being here, it made him feel safer.

But he wasn't as dedicated to the Dark Lord as she was, which was one of the reasons why she didn't mind leaving him. It would break his little heart, yes, but she had a bigger heart (or, in the Dark Lord's case--a bigger destiny--) to fulfill.

"But for now," she said aloud. "Let's have fun." Luna slid off Draco's grip and faced him. Without him noticing, she took the wand that he kept in the pocket of his jean and raised it. "Crucio!" she shrieked.

Draco doubled over and let out a scream the shook the whole house. Luna laughed and played around with his limbs, making them stretch a little bit more than normal and them watching them as they fall limp on the floor. But it was enough, she was not here to torture him. She had other things in mind.

So she lifted the curse and sat down beside him. "Does it hurt?" she asked.

Draco lifted his eyes to meet hers and smiled. "Not at all. I could do this all night," he said.

Luna cocked her head to the side and smiled. "That's okay," she said. "I have other things that I'd rather do." She stood up, stepped over him, and then lowered herself. Her body atop him and the feeling of his mortal heart beat against hers gave her an exhilirating high. "Hm," she said and then took her wand and traced an L into Draco's forearm, just above the Dark Mark. Draco gave a twitch and then he saw the blood that burst out, dripping to the floor.

"What are you--" Draco said, suddenly looking at Luna with frightened eyes.

"It won't hurt you," she said, doing the same thing on his neck. Here, the blood rushed out faster. She smiled and lowered her mouth to it. With the tip of her toungue, she licked it. It sent Draco's body shivering from both the pain and pleasure.

Then, she moved her lips to his temple where she planted a quick kiss. Pushing back a bit, Luna lowered her wand again and pointed it at the place where her lips had touched. "Now this, might be a little more painful," she said. Then, she used her wand to carve a V in honor of her lord on the side of his face. Draco screamed and tried pushing off Luna but she was a lot stronger than he would have thoughts.

"Stop it!" Draco said in desperation. Luna looked at him with dreamy eyes and shook her head.

"Now, for the last touch..." her voice was a whisper, barely audible as she unbuttoned Draco's shirt to uncover his beautiful chest. She caressed it for a moment, marveling how wonderful of a canvas it would make.

Using her toungue, she licked his chest from his neck to the lower part of his abdomen and then repeated the proceedure of carving into his flesh.

But this time, instead of writing a single letter, she wrote a full word...

Nargles.
