There was a silence that overtook the room. Bellatrix could hear the cries of her victims in her head. She smiled, enjoying the pain she had caused them. She always thought the amount of pain she was able to inflict on someone was the amount of power she had. In that case, she thought, I am quite a powerful witch. Of course, Bellatrix had never considered otherwise.
"Bellatrix," the voice of her master, the Dark Lord, called to her from the edge of the room. She turned his way and smiled. What she felt for the Dark Lord was beyond love, Bellatrix couldn't possibly feel such mundane emotions. She admired--no that was not the correct word. She adored him. She would revel at his feet for just the tiniest bit of pleasure she could receive from him.
"Yes, Master?" she said, her eyes low and her posture respectful.
"I need you to do me one special favor," he said. She smiled. The last time she had done him a special favor--well, it went much better than she thought.
"Yes, My Lord?"
"Will you--" he did not need to finish the question, for Bellatrix was already doing what he requested.
