-rolls eyes- bah, who needs dating? I didn't date anyone in high school and look how I TURNED OUT!!! ... oh wait...
Ummm...well I don't think you should be banned from dating. But might I recommend not jumping the gun on steady dating? I dunno how you do it...but when I start dating, I'm gonna pick a few girls to date with. Doesn't mean that any of them are my girlfriend? I just know that both my mom...and my grandma (lol don't worry they're cool peeps) said that they never dated 1 guy at a time. It was always a few guys at once till they found one they wouldn't mind going steady with? I guess my friend chris has a more modern name for that...shotgun approach.
I think the biggest thing in any high school relationship though is to not be so involved? like don't get so dramatic with it. just once you find a guy out of yer crop, just go out with him and stuff. Don't get so emotionally attached to him! College is when you need to start looking for a long lasting relationship...high school to me oughta be a fun introduction to the dating world. not a complicated craptastical experience.
so my words of advice...don't jump the gun on going steady and keep it simple ;). Simple relationships = simple breakups.

ya, that date of mine has been a friend of the family since i was born lol. she feels more like my sister or cousin than anything else ^_^'. Anyway, she was returning the favor... Awhile back she needed an escort for her chandler flower girl thing. Their family asked if I'd be interested. So likewise when our family asked if she'd be interested in coming to the prom w/ me ya know.
But ya...I suppose you can call that a date depending on what perspective ya got. I guess you could even call taking erin to homecoming a date, but everyone seemed so intent on making sure I realized it was going as friends?

I suppose I got till december to thinka something. I know twinkie will be throwin' some kinda party to hail my return...but I dunno how big/cool it'll be -shrugs-.
seeing the look on your friends face again would totally be worth making an appearance at his party. especially if we get to play video games. even more especially if those video games are HALO! :) alright... now youve got me all excited. i hope i can crash this party.

HALO? Ummm... I think twinkie can swing that...but it might be on the computer? We can network a few together and do multiplayer. I dunno if anyone has an XBox. I played halo on that once at anne's place...I sUxx0r at it =/. Ever play counter-strike on the computer?
as far as the not let on part...well not everyone knows i'm coming home i guess ^_^'. Maybe I can surprise a few of them...as if there wasn't enough evidence splashed around the journals to paint an obvious picture.

hmm networking... this sounds suspiciously like a LAN party. :) i suck at halo too but its so dang fun to play! no- ive never played counterstrike. im not much for computer games. or video games for that matter... but theyre fun when i have the time.
